Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage actor who's been mostly limited to TV sitcoms. She got her first success in this genre when she was married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a series that aired on ABC between 1995 to 1996. Barone made her first appearance on stage when she was five in Detroit which is where she was raised following the move of her family to the city from St Louis. By age 23 Barone was on stage in more than 50 plays mostly at university productions and regional theaters. The stage roles she played included Juliet in "Romeo as well as Juliet," Helen Keller in a stage production that was based on "Monday Following the Miracle" and in the title role of Agnes an innocent nun in "Agnes of God." She also played an appearance in a movie known as "Ricochet". In addition, she part of a scene from "The Roseary Murders". And in 1996, she played the main character in an independent romantic comedy entitled "Just Friends". The first Hollywood role of note came as a part of the company stock of "Carol And Company" (NBC in 1990 and 1991) The shaky program created to Carol Burnett to revive the sketch comedy show that aired on a variety channel. Barone was in "Wounded Heart", a 1995 USA Network film. Her return to sitcoms on the weekly air with her co-star in "Daddio", NBC 2000 along alongside Michael Chiklis. Anita Anita Anita
